About Us
WHO ARE WE?
The Great Lakes Warriorz was founded in 2012. The goal was to create an independent travel organization that provided more intense basketball than the average recreation or travel team. But unlike many AAU teams, the focus is more on player development, TEAM chemistry, fundamentals, and a fun family-friendly environment while still maintaining a high level of competitive basketball. We offer Tryouts for Fall/Winter Season from October through March for Grades 3rd - 8th. We also offer Tryouts for Spring/Summer season for 3rd - 8th Grades and include High School Teams 9th, 10th, and 11th Grades (based on interest).
Great Lakes Warriorz hosts and plays in some of the most competitive basketball tournaments in Michigan for AAU, Travel, and Community Teams!

Our organization places emphasis on PLAYER DEVELOPMENT in a fun, family-friendly environment that translates to success for our athletes in high school and college!
